What to Expect on Sundays

Have you ever wondered what happens at a church on a Sunday morning? Hopefully this can give you a sense of what to expect!

A comfortable setting

We gather together on Sundays from 10:30-11:55 a.m. in the Langley Events Centre's third-floor Banquet Hall (7888 200th Street, Langley, B.C.). The closest parking lot to the Banquet Hall is on the northhwest side of the building, closest to 200th Street and the ticket windows. Look for the large "Gate 2" sign above the entrance stairwell (enter through Gate 3 if you need elevator access).

A Warm Greeting

As you come in the doors, you'll see people of all ages, backgrounds and with different dreams and experiences. Our team of volunteers will greet you and answer any questions you might have as you get settled into any seat you like.

Good Coffee

There’s nothing like the smell of good coffee (or tea) to warm you up. We've got ethically sourced and fairly traded coffee from Republica available free of charge at any time.

inspiring Music

We begin our times together with 20 minutes of music that expresses our heart to God. The words are always up on the side screens for you to sing along and the kids stay with us for this section of the morning.

something for all ages

Kids @ The Ridge is our nursery to Grade 4 program where children learn about God. Classes start when kids are dismissed from the Banquet Hall around 10:50 AM. Kids up to Grade 4 have programming every weekend while Grades 5-8 have a program called Source twice a month (check the calendar for dates). Check in with our team at the Kids Check In Centre and they'll make sure you get the info you need to have a great experience.

Authentic relationships

While kids are heading up to their classes, we take 10 minutes to get to know each other better. This is called Coffee and Connection time. You can engage as much as you like or simply sit back and wait for the gathering to continue.

TRANSFORMATIONal Truth

Every Sunday, someone from our team shares life-changing truths from God's Word, the Bible. At Jericho, we seek to explore, understand and apply God’s truth to our lives at every level in a spirit of love. This time usually wraps up with some additional singing or a call to respond in prayer.
